Dr. Greger's book, How Not to Die: Discover the Foods Scientifically Proven to Prevent and Reverse Disease, is full of information. It is also an excellent reference book that you can come back to time and again. Each page of the book references a medical or nutritional study. Therefore, if you are interested in even more information on a specific topic, it is easy to locate. I read the book in small doses because of the wealth of information continued in each chapter. I would read a chapter or two and then spend time with a fiction book for a week or more before returning to the book. Each time I returned, I was fascinated with the facts and I loved continuing to learn information regarding our health and well-being. The importance of vegetables in our diet is made over and over again; however, it is always backed by scientific studies. It was a good reminder to make sure to not just get one measly veggie in my diet each day-- but many more! If you enjoy books on health and well-being, check out How Not to Die. I rated the book 5-stars.
