BOOK TYPE: Fiction / Mystery - Suspense
Agatha Christie is known as The Queen of Mystery for a reason. Her book, Murder on the Orient Express does not disappointment. The book is set on a train. The first night on the train, a passenger is murdered. As if that isn't bad enough, the train is stopped in its tracks by a large snowdrift. The passengers are stranded, together...a murderer among them. But who?
Thankfully detective Hercule Poirot is among the passengers on the stranded train. Although he'd hoped for this trip to be time away from his ever demanding work, he finds himself in the middle of a very interesting murder investigation. Poirot seeks to find the murderer before they strike again...
I loved the book. After reading the book, I watched the 2017 movie. The movie was good, but of course, I thought the book was much better!
Do you remember the board game, Clue? If you liked playing Clue...you'll love this book. Admittedly, I couldn't figure out the mystery and I was *shocked* at the ending. I believe you will be too!
I highly recommend Agatha Christie's book, Murder on the Orient Express.
